lets meditate

ABOUT THE BOOKS

The LET’S MEDITATE SERIES presents a gentle set of introductions on how to begin the practice of meditation.

This series is much different than standard meditation guides that list “rules” that must be followed in order to gain inner peace.

David understands that everyone is busy. Most people don’t have the ability to carve out a chunk of time to meditate every single day.

His philosophy is to meditate when you can, for as long as you can in any position that you are comfortable with.

The key is to feel comfortable enough to let go.

Letting go is everything. Nothing else matters.

Each page of instruction is accompanied by a beautiful full page illustration by artist Thaís Suizo to help make your entrance into the world of meditation feel gentle, comfortable and safe.

BOOKS IN THE SERIES

Book One: Let’s Get Started helps the reader to understand what meditation is and why it’s important.

It presents easy-to-follow steps on how to get started and what can be expected during a meditation session.

The book emphasizes the importance of taking it easy and not trying to get it “right.”

The underlying message from the series is to relax and “meditate badly.”

Book Two: 24 Ways to Calm the Monkey Mind presents a series of proven methods to calm down your  mind chatter.

The methods featured in the book are easy to do and cost nothing.

Most of the exercises can be done at work, at school, on the bus, at a social event or in the comfort of your own home.

Continued practice using these methods will help to develop a peace of mind that you never thought was possible.

Book Three: Energy and the Chakra System takes a look at what energy is and how it flows into our personality (to give us life) through a network of portals that are often referred to as “chakras.”

The book takes a look at the characteristics of each of the 7 major chakras and how they affect our daily life.

The book also provides easy-to-follow guidance on how to balance your energy which leads to a calmer and more peaceful life.
